Our Team

I'm Gregory Kraskowsky, A.K.A. Dr. K, and I have been the owner of Alamo Optometry since 2007. I received my Bachelor of Science in Biology from the University of California-Irvine in 1996 and my Doctorate in Optometry from Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale, Florida in 2000. I have truly appreciated being able to continue the tradition of skillful and personable eye care of my predecessors while adding my own individual touches along the way. Coming to the office every day is a privilege and I enjoy serving the eye care needs of the local community. Every day brings new challenges and I look forward to assisting my patients with all of their visual and eye care needs. When I am not at the office, I enjoy spending time with my wife and 2 girls.

Welcome! My name is Faye Simmons and I’m happy to be a part of such an amazing office. I bring over 25 years of Optical experience, both working in private practice and also for lab and frame vendors. I also bring a passion to help people select the perfect pair of glasses to suit their visual needs. Glasses should feel great and look great! I look forward to seeing you in our office soon.

My name is Rita and I am the Optometry Assistant/Technician at Alamo Optometry. I've been working for Dr. K. for four years. As I have many roles, my main focus is making sure that our office runs smoothly and our patients receive the best possible service with their contacts and eyewear needs. I've worked as an Administrative assistant for over fifteen years and currently completed a paraoptometric workshop. I am very excited about being part of our Lens Ferry launching. This will make ordering contacts much more convenient for our contact customers. Please feel free to call me to get you set up. It's always a pleasure seeing returning patients and welcoming new ones.

Hi! My name is Laura. As Dr. K's wife, I wear several different hats at our office. I take care of many of the routine tasks to keep the office running smoothly, as well as spearheading office improvements, from developing new forms and procedures to finding better ways to educate and inform our patients about their eye health. I also enjoy communicating with our patients via our social media postings and planning special events and promotions. Although I am often in the back office, I help out in front whenever I’m needed as well. Working with Dr. K to grow our small business with excellent patient care as our priority has been a wonderful experience and we’re so thankful for the opportunity to develop relationships with our patients over the years.
